Last weekend, our team had the chance to capture a one-of-a-kind Halloween celebration — The Haunted Honky Tonk at District 142 in Wyandotte, Michigan. The event brought together live music, creativity, and community in a way that only Halloween can — where every costume tells a story and every performance brings energy to the room.
Hosted by Wayne County Lyfe, the night featured an incredible lineup including Ryan Jay and the Wrecking Krew, Rob Stone, and headliner Louie Lee, a longtime friend and collaborator of ours. It was a full evening of live performances, laughter, and connection — capped off with a costume contest where one lucky winner took home a $1,000 prize.

The room was packed with people who came to celebrate, sing, and dance — and we were right there in the middle of it all. Leo even joined in on the fun, showing up as Buzz Lightyear to capture the night from behind the lens while blending right into the crowd. The combination of costumes, country twang, and the kind of crowd energy that fills every corner of the venue made this one of the most memorable shoots of the season.
Halloween often brings out the playful side of people, and The Louie Lee Show at The Haunted Honky Tonk reminded us of why we love doing what we do — documenting moments where creativity, music, and community collide. It’s not just about the photos; it’s about preserving the feeling of being there — the lights, the laughter, and the energy that makes events like these unforgettable.

From the first chord to the last encore, The Haunted Honky Tonk was more than a concert — it was a celebration of self-expression, shared moments, and the power of music to bring people together.
