Last week, our team had the honor of capturing an event that carried deep meaning - the Bloomfield Hills Chamber of Commerce Community Leadership Breakfast, where the incredible team behind On The Wings of Angels partnered with the Chamber to shed light on an issue that affects far too many: domestic violence.
The event brought together business leaders, community partners, and changemakers to discuss how business meets purpose - a conversation that was both powerful and deeply needed. At the center of it all was JoJo Dries, the founder of On The Wings of Angels, who delivered a moving keynote about the realities of domestic violence and the hope her organization brings to survivors.
For those unfamiliar, On The Wings of Angels (OTWOA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting and empowering survivors of domestic violence. They provide resources, healing opportunities, and advocacy to help individuals rebuild their lives in safety and strength. Through community outreach, education, and compassionate care, OTWOA gives survivors the tools to rise above trauma and step confidently into a new chapter. This collaboration between On The Wings of Angels and the Birmingham Bloomfield Chamber of Commerce not only raised awareness but also generated crucial funding to continue this life-changing work.
